This time last month, we were telling you all about how the models on our lineup were selling like gangbusters. Naturally, it was quite the cause for celebration here at Terry Henricks Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. And now that April's sales numbers are in, we're happy to announce that the good times roll on.
Last month, Chrysler Group sold 178,652 vehicles to satisfied customers across the US. It was a 14% increase over their sales in April of 2013; it was their best April sales since 2007; it was their 49th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. Not for nothing, but seven Chrysler Group models also set new sales records.
Like we said, we have good reason to celebrate, and with the Jeep brand performing like it has been, something tells us this is only just the beginning.
"The spring selling season is heating up as our Jeep brand had its best monthly sales ever," says Reid Bigland, Head of US Sales at Chrysler Group. "Both of our minivans had a strong April and the Ram pickup truck had its best April sales ever."1
