As much as we're looking forward to the arrival of the 2015 Jeep Renegade, we have to admit, it's got a lot to live up to. Thanks to the best-sellers on our lineup here at Terry Henricks Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, that's just the way it goes. And now that last month's sales numbers are in, the sentiment has never been truer.
In March, Chrysler Group reports sales of 193,915 units in the US. Not only was it a 13% increase over their sales in March of 2013, but it was their best March sales numbers since 2007.
With six Chrysler Group vehicles setting personal sales records for the month, it was certainly a team effort that brought them to this point. Leading the pack was none other than the Jeep brand with year-over-year sales gains of 47% and their best sales month in company history. Needless to say, they're doing something right.
"We are entering the spring selling season on a high note as our. . . brands recorded their best sales months ever and Chrysler Group extended its streak in March to 48-consecutive months of year-over-year sales increases," says Reid Bigland, Head of US Sales. "Our Ram pickup truck posted its best March sales in 10 years."1
And with the 2014 Ram 1500 coming in as Motor Trend's "Truck of the Year" for the second time in a row, we can't say we're all that surprised.
