The wait is over for many here in the Archbold area who have been anxious for the arrival of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee. It is said that it is only a matter of days before the SUV leaves the Toledo North manufacturing facility just down the road from our dealership.

For some readers who may not be aware of the SUVs past, the Cherokee was once a staple vehicle within the new Jeep lineup.  It was then discontinued in 2001 when the American automaker decided to pursue different options. Now it has been called out of retirement to fill the very popular mid-size SUV niche.

The shape of the 2014 Cherokee is much different than that of the past however it still offers the vehicles time honored traits of utility and performance. One key difference between the past and present is the vehicles efficiency. It now boasts a 31 MPG highway rating.

Shortly after the 2014 Jeep Cherokee went into production this past summer, the automaker was confronted with a minor issue that delayed the assembly process. This issue set the delivery date back by two months but did not put a damper on the automakers ability to run each vehicle at a nearby test track after rolling out of the Toledo North production facility.

Chrysler Group has notified us that it has begun its first shipments for the highly anticipated SUV. It is only a matter of days before we receive our first run of the model here at our Archbold showroom.
