The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show is one that we look forward to every year, as it allows automakers to bring us their most creative customized vehicles. At the recent show RAM certainly surprised us with its stylish concept truck, which is geared towards beach activities and shows us a level of adventure we have never seen before from the automaker.
Auto enthusiasts were immediately drawn to the RAM 1500 Sun Chaser Concept. It combined the ruggedness of the RAM 1500 with some exciting enhancements like its Vibrance Orange Blast paint job. It was also customized with 17-inch beadlock wheels, giving it the appearance that it's just waiting to take a spin on the beach.
Other stand out elements include its roof rack customized to carry surfboards, and its rack system in the truck bed that can easily carry longboards, paddleboards and additional water toys. This vehicle is certainly equipped to take you on an adventure, especially with its onboard shower that allows you to quickly freshen up after a long day in the sun.
We also love the plastic seats that pop up in the truck bed, providing a perfect spot to catch your breath in between waves or simply soak up some sun. As with every truck within the new RAM lineup, the model offers an impressive performance as well. Under the hood it sports a 5.7-liter, HEMI V-8 engine, and is enhanced with various Mopar parts and accessories. Although it is simply just a concept model for now, we would certainly love for it to make its way to production sometime in the future!
