Speaking of car care, it's vital that vehicles work as they were designed to and it's possible that your Chrysler 300, the Dodge Charger, and the RAM 1500 needs some additional tweaks.
The Chrysler brand is recalling less than 6,000 cars and trucks to examine their automatic transmission systems. So if you drive one of the aforementioned models equipped with 4x4 or all-wheel drive, an 8-speed transmission, and a V6 engine, your vehicle may be one affected by the recall.
The reasoning behind this is the output shafts installed in some of the 2013 editions of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and RAM 1500 were shaped via a two-stage forging method and may be more prone to breaking.
Chrysler has not instilled a single-stage forging method, which produces stronger output shafts.
Fortunately, handling an affected vehicle is simple! Just take it to our Chrysler service and repair center in Archbold, OH. We will inspect your transmission and replace it, if necessary, all at zero cost to you!
